I’ve been hearing about this Tokyo Love Soap being sold online and I got so curious since a lot of women are crazy purchasing one. So I started checking some reviews from other blog to get feedback if it is effective or not. Darn this soap is sure expensive compare to other beauty soaps available in the market! Since it is pricey, I am very careful in researching before I decide to give it a try.

So I got brave enough to purchase this soap and blew money with the hope that I will testify how effective it is. I am very suprised that I received the package 2 days after ordering it. Impressive!
Tokyo Love Soap packaging when delivered
I used the soap as soon as it arrived (does it sound too excited?! LOL! ) I tried the TLS Original first and these are my observation:
*It has a light smell and my skin feels supple right after the first bath.
*You don’t need to keep on rubbing it on your skin coz its soapy enough and it easily gives mosturizing effect.
*Easy to rinse & no stinging feeling unlike other whitening beauty soaps.
*Rough area smooth ens right after first use.
*Dark spot lightens & noticeably peeling as early as third use.
*I noticed the micro peeling effect all around my body on the 3rd day of using it. Considering that my skin is fair enough. Using body lotion/mosturizing cream that works for you is recommendable during the peeling period.
*My skin occasionally feels itchy from the peeling but no redness.I just try to avoid scratching it.
I have been using this soap for a week on a daily basis and so far, I experience the same positive feedback from other girls who have used it.I plan to write another blog probably a month after this to share any progress.
TIP:
-Keep the soap in a dry place to avoid it from melting easily. Best to put it in a separate soap dish with cover.
-You can cut the soap into small pieces for longer use.
–Tokyo Love Shop is the official site that sells authentic TLS. Buying a Php 750 for a bar of soap is not a joke, so might as well avoid fakes ones.

Hi! You are misleading people. Tokyoloveshop.com sells fake tokyo love soap. And I have a solid proof for that! Why don’t you email the sole manufacturer about this! Horrible.. if tokyoloveshop.com is based in Japan the package won’t arrive here for 1-2 days and the courier xend is not based in Japan! That shouldn’t be the courier for Japan-Philippines package.

What is your proof? I ordered this soap and I stopped using it…but then I had the courage to use it again ( I bought it from the same site ) it was magnificent! The lines on my face is hardly visible and the discoloration on my upper lip (from a bad wax job) is also lightened up a ton to the point that I don’t even notice it anymore ( and I am a critical person when it comes to my own appearance- but then again who isnt?)
Based on my experience as well, the site is pretty legit.

I recently got mine from Racosme, I got TLS Pure Girls. I already have the mini size of that soap and I loved it that’s why I ordered the regular size. To my dismay, the regular sized soap did not smell the same as the mini, and it did not looked and felt like the mini at all. I asked Racosme (buytokyolovesoap) about it, and the reply was –
“there is no difference however…
since the soap mold is smaller .. the color is might brighter than the bigger soap since yellowish discoloration occurs much faster in bigger soap.
also since the soap is bigger, smell is also weaker than the smaller soap.
but nevertheless, they should be the same.. its just a size issue that occurs when molding the soap.”
I don’t think there will be a difference in the smell and the color even if there’s variance in the size. I may have ordered the ones that are said to be for International buyers (buyers outside Japan) and the box has a lady face logo at the top right part of the box. Got mine for P690+P80 (shipping).

The soap I bought from Tokyo Love Shop does not have the logo of the face of the woman, I’ve been seeing some local websites that sells the same but I am not 100% educated where it is originated. Thanks for giving me an idea to research it.I’ve read some blogs that says, it is also original but came from diffirent manufacturers but when you said the color & the scent is different from what you got the first time, i hope you didn’t get a fake one.

From what I understand, the one with the face logo is issued for International buyers and the ones that does not have that logo are the ones for Japan buyers. I would buy that explanation but what I can’t really understand is if it’s just a packaging difference, and no formulation tweaks, should it not have difference on the smell and color as well? Though I’ve used the regular size from Racosme a couple of times now, and it feels soft after washing, too; it just does not feel the same with the mini variant.
I hope the quality is the same though I doubt it. Will be looking forward to hearing from you if ever you’d find anything about it. It’s confusing me already. But I guess I’d rather splurge and buy from Tokyo Love Shop instead of local stores. I just don’t want to see that face logo on the box anymore.. Thanks for answering! ☺

Sadly, most filipino resellers in facebook and instagram sells fake soap. The only legit store that sells Japanese version is tokyoloveshop.com so please do not waste your money on soaps from local resellers. Tokyo love shop have stockroom in PH that is why they send it locally since many pinoys are crazy about the soap. If its sent from japan it will have importation fee of around 250 pesos per soap -_-

Other that the shipping fee, is there any other fee which should be taken cared of by the buyer? I believe you mentioned that the shipping fee was waived for you cause you purchased items worth more than $50. But did you pay for anything else like tax when it was delivered at your doorstep?

Hello Jack! Since every woman has different skin reaction into dryness, i would still recommend to use lotion especially if you notice the micro peeling effect while using this soap. I religiously apply lotion on my body and moisturizer on my face after i use tls soap.

based on what I have experienced, the whitening effect did not happen overnight but the micro peeling became noticeable after first use. Since my skin is fair, I cannot determine if it changed drastically but using TLS made my skin looks more fairer. I hope my answer helped you a little.

Hello Marie! Sorry for the late response. As far as I know, the TLS focuses on whitening your skin but it was not specifically mentioned that it cures deep pimple scars. Based on my experience, I have had some pimple marks on my face back in 2007, I paid a visit to derma and i was advised to take some mild facial wash and moisturizer (Celeteque) and I took Diane pill,it cleared my skin after 6 months. I hope that will also work for you too and find a good derma to give your some advises.

Hello Apple! Sorry for the late response. Before i took the Diane pill, I consulted and OB- gyne first so she can assess how bad my hormonal imbalance was. My pimple scars were noticeable, as in with black marks, and it faded after 8 months of taking the pill. If you can take a look on the gravatar photo, you can barely see it. I am happy with the result and I hope it works for you too.
